Angelic Organics Farm Tour

Angelic Organics is welcoming The Sugar Beet Co-op and friends to spend a day exploring their farm and learning center. Less than 2 hours from Chicago this beautiful working farm leads programming that is both hands on and educational.

Taste what's growing in the fields. See the life teeming in a handful of soil. Meet the people and animals who are part of the farm. There will be plenty of opportunities to get your hands dirty. You'll have time to reflect on your relationship to food, farming, and the earth, too.

Bring a sack lunch. Homemade ice cream for dessert in the afternoon!

10:00 am Arrive at Angelic Organics Learning Center
Orientation
10:30 am Meet the animals!
11:30 am Lunch and free time with the goats and chickens
Scavenger hunt/ GAMES
12:15 pm Goat milking demonstration
12:30 pm Make ice cream
1:00 pm Greenhouse and veggie fields tour
2:30 pm Enjoy ice cream together!
Closing circle
3:00 pm Departure
