Dance Basics for Beginners-Summer Session A

July 22, 24, 29, 31 from 11:00am-12:00pm

Do you love the idea of dancing and doing burlesque but have never danced before? This class is specifically focused on developing fundamental dance skills for adults. Set in a positive atmosphere, with great music and supportive instructors and students, this 4-week series will cover:
Strength Building, Balance, and Flexibility
Rhythm (finding/moving on the beat)
Developing Style
Posture and body lines
Coordination
Memorization of moves/choreography
Increasing your movement vocabulary

Feel free to take this class more than once to master movement fundamentals.

Participants should wear exercise/dance wear and comfortable shoes.

Cancellation Policies:

If your class is cancelled by the instructor, your payment will be refunded in full as soon as possible. If you've pre-paid a class or deposit and need to cancel 10 days or more before the class, you will be refunded 50% of your deposit. No refunds will be made in the 9 days before a class or once the class has started and there are no refunds for missed classes.
