Joëlle Morris has a special place in her heart for the songs of Edith Piaf, and in this concert marking the 50th anniversary of Piaf's death, Joëlle who lives in Winthrop, Maine but who grew up in France, where she first became enamored of Piaf's music brings to life the greatest songs from her idol's catalog, infusing them with her own (and her backing band's) jazzy sensibilities.
