Creating a Wildlife Habitat Garden
Learn how to enhance the habitat value of your garden by creating year-round resources that will attract a diversity of birds, pollinators and other wildlife species. Nancy Bauer, author of "The California Wildlife Habitat Garden" and Charlotte Torgovitsky, habitat garden educator, will introduce us to Bay Area wildlife gardens, seasonal native plants, and the types of wildlife they attract. Utilizing the new Pepperwood Demonstration Garden and nearby trails, we will learn about suitable native plants and then participate in a hands-on propagation demonstration.
