Herbal Travel Kit Making Class
Do you always get sick when you travel? Does your digestion get out of whack? Do you have trouble sleeping? I always take herbs with me to help with these things and make the trip more comfortable.
Join me for this travel first aid kit class in which we will make two tinctures and a salve together in class, and learn several basic remedies that you can take with you when you travel. You will take home a kit with three items as well as an assortment of pre-packaged teas to have on hand.
This class is great for people who travel a lot (international, camping... anything!) and are just getting into herbalism, or just want to toolkit.
The kit will include: - First Aid Salve: calendula/ plantain infused oil with lavender oil and cocoa butter (cuts, dry skin, rashes, burns, chapped lips) - Post meal digestive tonic for gas, bloating and feelings of blockage. (chamomile, fenugreek, fennel and spearmint.) - Immune tonic (elderberry, echinacea and licorice tincture) - Nighty night tea, peppermint tea, and smooth move tea from traditional medicinals.
Feel free to add to your own kit as you wish! Maybe it needs an eye pillow, or a vial of ibuprofen!
BRING: - A small zippered bag (or a plastic bag) to store your kit in. Make up bags or toiletries bags would work well. - An apron and clothes you don't mind getting stained (elderberry stains!) - A notebook and pen to capture notes if you're that sort of person.
