Ntozake Shange's groundbreaking influence in theatre and in the representation on Black women, colored girls and all the in between in the world is now and forever will be indisputably unmatched.
In "When I Became a Woman" FRESHH will showcase The Vanguard, our professional Black Womens acting ensemble in a series of scenes, monologues, and other works in tribute to the life and legacy of Ntozake Shange.
