The Lonesome West by Martin McDonagh
The Lonesome West is Martin McDonagh's final work in his Leenane Trilogy (The Beauty Queen of Leenane and A Skull in Connemara are parts one and two). The satirical plot revolves around two perpetually squabbling brothers, Valene and Coleman, who are left to their own devices after the recent death of their father. Father Welsh, the oft-embattled priest of the town, wholeheartedly tries to fend off the brothers' impiety and restore order in the home of the disillusioned duo before things spiral out of control. Directed by Ann Bowen and starring Tom Pavey, Goran Ivanovski, Alisha Racho-Jansen, and Tom Amici. Produced by Mark Forlenza.
