Farm to Ballet at Retreat Farm (2019)

7/16/19 Update HEAT/TIME CHANGE: It is looking like a hot weekend but we still plan to perform for you this Saturday! Due to the heat, we are going to make a few adjustments in order to make the experience more comfortable for all.

We will be shifting this event to occur 30 minutes later which means that doors will open at: 5:00pm and the show will start at: 6:30pm. The seating and performance area will be more shady at this time of the evening.

We also will be bringing in some industrial fans to keep the air moving in the area.

Depending on the heat, some of the animals may be out to pasture to best help them stay cool and healthy.

Other than those changes, the show will go on! We are looking forward to experiencing a wonderful evening together on Saturday.

Enjoy this full-length performance that reinterprets classical ballet pieces to tell the story of a Vermont farm from Spring to Fall. Bring your own picnic or purchase some farm fresh food to enjoy during the performance. Come early to explore the farm and other activities.
