December 6th at 7:30PM at The Baryshnikov Arts Centers Jerome Robbins Theater in Midtown Manhattan, loadbang plays Commission Competition Winners. Loadbang has been focused on the establishment of a significant body of repertoire for a decade. Beginning in 2011, loadbang began their call for scores, now renamed a commissioning competition, to search for exceptional composers to collaborate with on new works. This program will feature the results of these collaborations, with pieces by Gary Philo, David Franzson, Evan Johnson, Chris Fisher-Lochhead, David Bird, and Ioannis Angelakis.
