Falling Waters Music Camp Opening Concert
As has become our tradition, we now open the camp with a Thursday night concert. This year we are inviting a few of our visiting and esteemed teacher-performers to play for campers and music lovers unplugged and in the intimate and lovely Yellow Barn suite . There will be two sets of music beginning at 7:30pm featuring our Canadian friends Shane Cook (fiddle) and Kyle Waymouth (guitar and stepdance) and some of our favorite past teacher performers, Ethan Jodziewicz (bass), Joe Walsh (mandolin) and Grant Gordy (guitar) along with banjoist Ben Krakauer.
This year we are NOT having a Friday night public Camp Concert, focusing instead on instruction, camper orientation, and jamming. We will however have the usual Saturday night Camp Concert featuring most camp instructors in a series of short vignettes and collaborations.
