Southern Solstice: A Winter Fire Ritual in the Sonoran Desert
This holiday season, come share this experience with us as we celebrate the Winter Solstice passage of the sun as it dips to its lowest point in our Sonoran Desert sky, the shortest day and longest night. Witness clever choreography with 25 performers offering fire dancing, acrobatics, aerial, and stilt dance.  This unique time of year has become important on many levels, both culturally and physically.  Our ancestors have attached spiritual and social meaning to the solstice, to this holiday season, and to the northern winter.  We dedicate this dance to our ancestors, listen to their stories, and take this joyous opportunity to celebrate this special place in Earth's orbit.

This community-style event will be taking place during sunset overlooking the beautiful Catalina mountains. Their will be some seat available. However, we encourage patrons to bring their own chairs and blankets as they take in the entertainment. Come early to get a great seat, purchase a hot beverage, and take in the winter spirit!

General Admission ~ Sliding Scale ~ Pay what you can afford: $10-20/Ticket
VIP Admission ~ $50/Ticket ~ Includes Reserved Seating, a heat source, a warm beverage, & a photo with the fire crew
*KIDS UNDER 10 ARE FREE
