Baila Little Havana: Free weekly dance classes for the community!
Let's get together and get active for a healthy, happy and happening new year.
Dancer and Master Instructor Marisol Blanco teaches Cuban Social dances and AfroCuban basics!
Tuesdays, 7-8:30pm
Marisol's course spans the history, songs, steps, beats, passion, mysticism, and intensity of Cuban folklore and culture.
She'll cover traditional popular ballroom/salon dances: Danzon, Mambo, Chachacha, Pilon, Mozambique, Son and Casino; Cuban identity dances: Rumba, Yambu, Guaguanco and Columbia, and the Havana Carnival Dance, The Conga. Shell also teach AfrioCuban Heritage Dances, including Yoruba (Orichas) Arara (Fodunes), Bantu (Mpungos) and Haitian (Loaces).
Ages: 12 years old and up

Reunámonos y mantengámonos activos para tener un año saludable y feliz.
¡La bailarina y maestra, Marisol Blanco enseña bailes cubanos y sociales, así como conceptos básicos afrocubanos!
Martes, 7pm-8:30pm.
El curso que estará impartiendo Marisol abarca la historia, canciones, pasos, ritmos, pasión, misticismo e intensidad del folklore y la cultura cubana.
Ella enseñará los bailes de salón tradicionales: Danzón, Mambo, Chachachá, Pilón, Mozambique, Son y Casino; bailes cubanos: Rumba, Yambú, Guaguanco y Columbia, y el baile de Carnaval de La Habana, La Conga. Ella también enseñará Danzas Afrocubanas, incluyendo Yoruba (Orichas) Arara (Fodunes), Bantú (Mpungos) y Haitiana (Loaces).
A partir de 12 años en adelante.
