2018 Silver Spoon Tea Party
The Woodson continues their tradition of celebrating deserving youth within our community when hosting a silver spoon weekend.
This years Tea Party is scheduled for December 2 and we have again secured girls from the following schools: Melrose, Academy Prep, Lakewood Elementary, Campbell Park, Maximo Elementary and Mid Town Academy.
The children are so excited and are looking forward to the magic created around this wonderful event.
The weekend begins with hair and nail appointments, a pizza party, a sleep over in a downtown hotel, arts and crafts, an etiquette session, beautiful tea party dresses, a limousine ride, photo shoot and then the magic of the Silver Spoon Tea Party.
In the past, we have given the girls bikes, this year we are hopeful to secure tablets for each of them to assist with their studies.
