Angels in America - A Benefit Reading
The Storyville Collective with Crescent Care will be sponsoring a benefit reading of Tony Kushners Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play, Angels in America: Millennium Approaches on Friday, November 30th at 7:30pm. The reading is being held in commemoration of World AIDS Day. All proceeds from the event will go to support NO/AIDS Project. The event will be held at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of New Orleans at 5212 S. Claiborne Ave.
The Angels in America benefit reading will feature the talents of many of New Orleans most notable actors including John Broder as Prior Walter, Elizabeth Newcomer as Harper Pitt, Michael Newcomer at Roy Cohn, Augustin Corerro as Louis Ironson, Amy Chaffee as Hannah Pitt and Jessica Podewell as The Angel. The cast will also feature Chivas Michael, Drew Pearson, Max Cohen and Hannah Kent. The reading will be under the direction of John R. ProctorZ.
