A Sonoma County Nutcracker, presented by New World Ballet

Victor Temple and New World Ballet's modern version of the Nutcracker provides audiences with a unique experience highlighting the bounty of Sonoma County. The ballet replaces its traditional German setting and is transformed into a locally-focused, theme-based production including wineries, vineyards, the ocean, and hills. The choreography includes an array of characters that portray local agricultural and cultural icons of this county, humorously referencing the land of coastal fog, dancing apples, woolly sheep and more in the land of vineyards. This is a multicultural presentation referencing our diverse cultural and farm-based climate.
The Sonoma Nutcracker will give Sonoma County its own production company and a more innovative artistic identity.
