Actors Ensemble of Berkeley kicks off our 62nd season with Thornton Wilder's "The Skin of Our Teeth". Running weekends January 4 through 26, 2019

In THE SKIN OF OUR TEETH, Thornton Wilder's 1943 Pulitzer-prize winning play, the Antrobus family stands in for all of humanity, as we move back and forth across time and space, humanity just barely escaping, war, flood, and climate catastrophe. In the midst of it all they meet both legends (Moses, Homer) and everyday folks, and shelter friend and fauna (a Dinosaur, a Woolly Mammoth). Perhaps in the end, humanity will survive, thrive, and evolve to something more human.

Featuring Alejandra Wahl as Sabina, Lisa Wang as Mrs. Antrobus, Kent Mannis as Mr. Antrobus, Jake Soss as Henry, and Anya Cherniss as Gladys.

With Janelle Aguirre, Mary Bishop, Molly Hanes, Ian Jang, Helen Mim, Miranda Tilley, John Tranchitella, Vicki Victoria, Matthew Weinberg and Susannah Wood.

Fridays and Saturdays January 4th through January 26th at 8 p.m. Sunday matinees January 13th and 20th at 2 p.m.
