Anita's closeted gay son was viciously murdered by a gang of men at an abandoned train station. A mysterious young man has been following her for months. When the two finally confront each other, both must grapple with the truth that has been stalking them, and stare directly into the face of their worst nightmares. At turns hilarious and haunting, beautiful and brutal, VINCENT RIVER is a gripping, unrelenting negotiation between two souls desperate for a way to move beyond grief.
VINCENT RIVER premiered at The Hampstead Theatre in London in 2001 and had its American premiere at 59E59 Theaters in New York in 2008. This production marks the play's second production in the United States.
