The Crucible
Snohomish High School Theatre Club presents Arthur Millers classic play, The Crucible. The play is set during the Salem Witch Trials of 1692, and was inspired by the McCarthy Trials in the 1950s where U.S. citizens were coerced into calling out friends and family members as being communists. The plots relevance seeps into 2018, as those in power hide behind the guise of religion and law, twisting those institutions to serve their own greed and pride.
The show has 6 performancesNov 30, Dec 1, 7 & 8 at 7pm, with 2pm matinees on Dec 1 and 8. Performances are held in the Snohomish High School PAC at 1316 5th St in Snohomish, WA. Tickets are $12 for general admission, $10 for any students (with ID) and seniors 62 and up.
*The show has some mature themes, and is recommended for high school students and adults.
