Rian Rinn Hog Butchery followed by Pop-Up Dinner with Mullen & Smith.
This fresh event is crafted special to celebrate Shed. Part butchery demo, part fine dining, complete education & flavor!
A three part night including: -A demonstration from Sonoma's own Rian Rinn on breaking down a 1/2 hog -A SHED social hour with drinks out on our terrace -Followed by an amazing meal prepared by Mullen & Smith hosting a pop up in our kitchen, comprising pieces from the hog into a three course meal.
First glass free: wine, beer and other drinks available for purchase.
Rian Rinn, Ian Mullen and Jason Smith crossed paths under Laurent Gras at the Fifth Floor in San Francisco now, a decade later, they are setting the local food stage.
Rian is living the dream by opening Sonoma County Meat Co.: a custom cut & wrap butcher shop for small farmers and all eaters, scheduled to open in central Santa Rosa by the end of 2013.
Ian & Jason are stirring up the underground dining scene with their latest venture, Mullen & Smith: a collaborative effort to create the most inspiring seasonal menus adapting traditional French techniques for the modern palate using locally-sourced ingredients from the finest growers in the Bay Area.
