The Visit, East Grand Fork Heritage Village
The Visit is a is a dark comedy that explores the values, choices and consequences of a small town struggling to survive as they are faced with the play's prevailing question, How far will a town go to save itself?  The production will take place in and around the historic buildings and grounds of The East Grand Forks Heritage Village. Audience members will be lead to areas on the historical site where they will watch scenes unfold and experience the mounting tension in the play from close range.

Featuring Twin Cities talent: Jason Ballweber, Barbara Berlovitz, Justin Caron, Darcey Engen, Elise Langer, Jacob Mobley, Randy Reyes, Bob Rosen, Ashton Schneider and Luverne Seifert. Adaptation by Sarah Myers, Musical composition by Eric Jensen.

Featuring East Grand Forks area talent: Walter Criswell, Amy Discoll, Cheyenne Hewitt, Denny Jacobs, Brady Kjersten, Hannah McSparron, Casey Paradies, Wendy Pederson, Nicole Quam, Ashlee Watnemoe, David Watnemoe, and Emilee Watnemoe

The project is being spearheaded by Luverne Seifert, professional actor/director in the Twin Cities and Head of the B.A. Theatre Performance program at the University of Minnesota and Darcey Engen, performer and Chair of the Theater Arts Program at Augsburg College in Minneapolis.

This activity is made possible in part by a grant provided by the Minnesota State Arts Board through and appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature from the State's arts and cultural heritage fund with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008.
