UPROOTED theatre presents "Truth: The Testimonial of Sojourner Truth"
Eric Coble's "Truth: The Testimonial of Sojourner Truth" is a beautifully-crafted play that tells the story of Truth's journey from slave, to freed woman, to abolitionist, preacher, and suffragette. Marti Gobel plays Truth, as well as a dozen other characters that influenced Truth's life and molded her into the person she became. Dennis F. Johnson directs.
PLEASE NOTE: This production is being performed at two different venues. The show on Sunday, June 2nd takes place at The Milton House Museum, a site of the Underground Railroad, in Milton. The shows on the 6th and 7th is performed at St. John's On The Lake in Milwaukee. There is an event page set for each location.
