COMICALLY CHALLENGED
Theater veteran Rus Hames challenges other Triangle-area theater artists to try their hand at stand-up comedy. This (mostly) virgin line up includes Dan Sipp, Jeffery Moore, Steven Warnock, Emily Sharples, Jon Kuczynski, Joe Mancini, and Rus Hames. Growing up in the 1980s with a proliferation of stand-up comedy on TV and certain comedy veterans in their prime (George Carlin, Billy Crystal, and Eddie Murphy come to mind), Rus Hames' love of comedy has recently been re-stoked by endless hours of listening to interviews with today's comics on Marc Maron's podcast "WTF". Can these Triangle newbies find success without the assistance of playwrights and directors guiding their talents? We shall see, and you should come see too!
