Ghost is located at 1111 E. Pike St, in the beautiful Chophouse Row community. Enter on E. Pike through Cupcake Royale (ADA accessible), or up the stairs via the Chophouse Row courtyard ("The Mews").
MEET THE STRANGE WOMEN.
Shelley Minden is a cross-genre writer and story-teller. As a retired medical editor and writer, she is shape-shifting her work into the creative realm. She lives in Seattle and is the author of Shape Shift, a chapbook from Finishing Line Press.
A Southwest native, Symone La Luz visited Seattle and was instantly pulled in by the cinematic fog and artistic culture she craved. Her childhood consisted of reading novels in trees and eating red chile enchiladas for breakfast. A singer-songwriter by trade, she is creating her first chapbook and zine composed of poems and short stories that speak to what it means to be emotionally vulnerable in a world of disposability.
G.G. Silverman's short fiction was most recently nominated for the Best Small Fictions anthology, among other honors, and her work has appeared in Speculative City, The Other Side of Violet, Corvid Queen, So To Speak, The Iron Horse Literary Review, The Seventh Wave, Molotov Cocktail, Iconoclast, and more. She is currently at work on a feminist short story collection that explores myth, fairy tale, magic, female sexuality, female rage, and female monstrosity, and her work is deeply influenced by her Italian heritage (she is the daughter of immigrants) as well as nature. When not writing, G.G. is an improvisational theater artist as well as a visual artist who uses low-resolution photography to create ethereal, dreamlike images.
Kait Heacock likes to think of herself as a literary organizer; she builds community around books. She is the publicist at Dottir Press and Pacific Northwest editor for Joyland. Her debut short story collection, Siblings and Other Disappointments, is available now. Her fiction has appeared in Esquire, Joyland, KGB Bar Lit Mag, Portland Review, Tin House, and Vol. 1 Brooklyn. Her nonfiction has appeared in Crab Creek Review, DAME, Largehearted Boy, Literary Hub, The Millions, The Womens Review of Books, and The Washington Post. Her work has received support from the Montez Press summer residency at Mathew Gallery and been nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
