Field to Food "24 Carrots, A Gem of An Event"
This event features local foods and wines produced within 100 miles of the Center for Ageless Living. This year's menu features "carrots" and is being prepared by the chefs at the Green House Bistro and Bakery which is part of the Center for Ageless Living. Proceeds from this event support SC, Inc. a New Mexico Nonprofit committed to sustainable communities for senior care and the Field to Food program which sends fresh, seasonal produce to home bound elders in Valencia County through Meals on Wheels

Appetizers: Wheat crackers with goat cheese and dab of Roasted Quinces
Soup: Cream of Carrot and Turnip with a garnish pea tendrils
Salad: Garden Fresh Lettuce with creamy Green Goddess
dressing and goat milk feta and Coriander infused carrot jello salad
Entrees: Carrot and Lamb Stew over garden green couscous and Vegetarian Lasagna "fresh from the garden"
Dessert: Flourless Chocolate Torte with a 24 Karat gold dust and Plum Tart
