Howard Barkers theatrical use of language and actions led to a performative approach to the staging.

Jean-Frédéric Messier is one of the founders of Momentum, a theatrical company based in Montreal that has produced more than thirty pieces since its beginning in 1990. He has also written many plays for other companies in Quebec and directed several pieces in different theatres in Canada and abroad.
