Saranac Lake Winter Carnival Murder Mystery Dinner Theater - Death & Acids
Nothing is broke, but the cast is set for Death & Acids, the Winter Carnival Murder Mystery being presented on February 2, 9 & 16, 2019.
Jessica Deeb, Rick Burdt, Kristin Finn, McCayla Quinn and Andrew Scanio will step onto the Saranac Lake Elks Club stage located at 30 Bloomingdale Ave., in the form of the characters of Dog Catcher, Judge, Zoning Inspector, DMV agent, Economic Development Director.
All the actors have performed in the area and many Elks will recognize Deeb. All the performers are well known to the Saranac Lake and Lake Placid theater community.
The hapless police department not only cant solve the murder, the investigating sergeant is one of the suspects, one of the many government officials that might have been the killer. This leaves it up to the audience to solve the crime. Top sleuths have the chance to win prizes and one lucky detective will be wearing a Winter Carnival Medal in the first two performances.
The audience will have approximately 40 minutes to conduct interrogations. Then, while they mull over who done it, the will enjoy a delicious dinner.
Dinner includes: Homemade chicken soup, salad, different chicken with angel hair pasta for each night (Chicken Picatta - Feb 2 / Chicken Marsala - Feb 9 /Chicken Parmesian - Feb 16), Pasta Puttanesca (vegetarian option) and desserts.
During dinner the audiences answers are collected, just in time for a final resolve where the killer is revealed. Each night a different killer. Each show will will start at with cocktails at 6:02 p.m., followed by the first act at 6:33, and dinner at 7:04.
