Buoys for the Bays Workshop
Thursdays, November 1 & December 6 | 6:30 PM | $30 ($25 for Friends of SAC and Back to the Bays Members)
Buoys for the Bays is an initiative of Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program.
We welcome you to be a part of BUOYS FOR THE BAYS, an Art + Science initiative designed to raise awareness of, and funds to support the work of Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program! Working with CCE Marine's Art + Science Educator Carolyn Munaco, participants will be guided through the steps to create a marine-themed painting on a reclaimed fishing buoy.
Thanks to fishing industry partners for donating the buoys utilized in this initiative: Arthur Kretschmer, Philip Karlin, Edward Rodman, Nathanial Miller, and Mitchell Fulcher Jr.
