Music Old and New for a New/Old Tuning System
Works by North and Central German composers of the 17th and 18th centuries, as well as several 20th century works, will explore the effect of the retuning of the Beckerath organ into Neidhardt temperament. Early composers expected and exploited such tunings, and modern composers' pieces sound fresh and new.
