Furniture, Fashion & Music in the 18th Century presented by James Caughman, Kohler Interiors Group
Using music as a point of departure, Mr. Caughman's lecture will look at not only furniture, fashion and music but also architecture, painting and literature during the "extended" 18th century (1680 - 1830), a Golden Age of creativity. We will explore the links between creative expressions in each period and illustrate the organic development from one period to another. Passages of music from each period will be played.
