HAPPY BIRTHDAY JANIS.....(AGAIN!)
Once again, Sue LeGate Halford and her musical entourage bring an extensive variety of rock and roll songs in a tribute to Janis Joplin and other female rockers to the Nevada Theatre. Audiences have enjoyed plenty of vintage live Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, Melanie, The Beatles and many many more in show that explores all genres of rock and roll through the years.
Backed by husband Dave Halford on vocals and rhythm guitar, the Halfords are joined by husband and wife team Jonathan Lyerly and Karel Hendee on vocals with an incredible lead guitar played by Lyerly. Larry Casserly brings his talents to the group on bass and vocals, all the while being kept in rhythm by Nevada County virtuoso drumist John Basa.
Happy Birthday Janis (AGAIN!) is January 11th and 12th, with both shows at 8pm.
Tickets only $20 in advance, $22 at the door, with special reserved seating available at $35 (box office or online only)
