Gypsy, presented by Marin Summer Theater
GYPSY is a story about the ultimate, aggressive stage mother and her daughters. The rhinestone splendor of vaudeville's waning days are brought to life in this musical based on the life of burlesque queen Gypsy Rose Lee. To the accompaniment of Jule Styne and Stephen Sondheim's zesty songs, June and Louise are dragged from one second-rate theatre to another and through a myriad of dingy hotels as their scheming mother pursues a dream of her daughters' headlining the famed Orpheum Circuit. Featuring unforgettable songs such as "Let Me Entertain You," "Some People" and "Everything's Coming Up Roses" GYPSY is one of the greatest musicals of the golden age.
Reserved ticket holders will find a prime seat waiting for them. Reserved tickets can not be purchased at the door. There is no student or senior pricing for reserved tickets.
