Fast & Furious: Election Night Special
Weve been doing this show for just over two years, and things are still terrible. But every month, we gather, share, yell, commiserate, laugh when we can, hope, and support each other.
Live performance exists to serve as Americas cultural conscience. As artists, it is our responsibility to make work that shines a light on things when theyre wrong, celebrate them when theyre right, and model alternative possibilities. This kind of work can change hearts and minds. Our ability to act fast and create work quickly in response to events, policies, and general dumpster fires has never been more crucial, as we participate in building the language of resistance.
This month will feature best-of work from past F&F's, as well as new work about the week leading up to the midterms.
And the performance will be followed by a viewing party for watching the returns!

CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS:
This month, if you want to make something new in response to an event in the week prior, PLEASE DO THAT!
Well also be opening this performance up to past work that F&F stalwarts want to revisit, so well have some best-of work to share, too.
Open to work in all disciplines! Looking for pieces somewhere between 3 and 7 minutes. Minimal tech, potentially some rehearsal hours subject to availability.
