Long before the Nutcracker Ballet there was an original story called "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King which is the basis for this whimsical theatrical re-telling entitled "The Nutcracker Prince".
It is the story of a fairy-tale land ruled by an evil king who is constantly at odds with a royal mouse family that also inhabits the castle.
Secrets and spells abound in this production - featuring over twenty local actors - as we go back to the original source material by E.T.A. Hoffman.
