Were living through extraordinary times. The future holds immense hope, possibility and potential for change alongside real threats. But we also have huge opportunities to re-think and re-order the world, locally and globally...
As it always has been, our future will be determined by ordinary people learning about and finding our place within uplifting social movements for change. Together, we can reshape our communities, city and world towards a more just, compassionate, and sustainable future.
Connect & make lasting relationships with new people of all walks of life from around Leeds & Yorkshire. Explore new ideas and big issues. Share our unique stories, wisdom, experiences. Have fun, think and act creatively. Debate, disagree. Seek solutions and collaborations. Look beyond, vision alternative futures, and map the practical steps to getting there.

What is a Summat?
Politicians are always heading off to summits about important issues. Leeds Summat's in 2009, 2011, 2014 and 2016 gave everyday people the chance to discuss these issues too, but in a much more fun, more Yorkshire way!
Will it be accessible?
The venue is wheelchair accessible via stair lifts. We have travel bursaries, childcare bursaries, kids creche, and British sign language interpreting available on request. Please let us know if there is more we can do to help make the event accessible for you.
