The Stand-Up Seminary - Level 1 - Monday - May 2013

The Lincoln Lodge has created The Stand-Up Seminary a beginners foundation course that strives to give prospective performers the confidence and skills they need to begin a career in standup comedy.

The course is founded on the comedy principles of the critically acclaimed Lincoln Lodge, a national leader in
cultivating and developing new comedy talent.

The five weekly 2 hour sessions of this course will focus on:
Joke structure
Development of material
Finding an attitude and persona
Connecting with an audience
Creating a cohesive set.

Class Schedule is as follows -
Monday, May 13th at 7:00 p.m.
Monday, May 20th at 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, May 29th at 7:00 p.m (Memorial Day week)
Monday, June 3rd at 7:00 p.m.
Monday, June 10th at 7:00 p.m. (Provisional)

Graduation show - T.B.D.

Location: Class takes place at SHIEL PARK (see map) and NOT at the Lincoln Lodge!

(NOTE: Minimum class size is five students. If class needs to be re-scheduled due to lack of membership a full refund will be issued on May 6th)
