2013 Boogie Down Dance Series presents THE PROLETARIAT TALES
The Bronx-based dance company, JD/Dansfolk, presents THE PROLETARIAT TALES, a full evening of works that employ contemporary dance-theater, blues music, philosophical texts, work songs, and hip hop to vibrantly explore the human's relationship to work. Choreography by Jessica Danser/dansfolk, live music by Karl Schwarz, and performances by Noele Phillips, Kristin Dexnis, Natafa Doujan, Amin Jai, and Jenna Steiner.
