Crossing Iowa
Jack Zimmerman has worked as a parking-lot attendant, greenhouse laborer, dock hand, trombonist, college instructor, nightwatchman, piano tuner, newspaper columnist, magazine editor, and PR man. He's written a couple of novels, 2,300 newspaper columns, and has told stories his entire life. He's the 2012 recipient of the Helen Coburn Meier and Tim Meier Arts Achievement Award and currently works as Lyric Opera's subscriber relations manager.
