Politics and Prose Presents SENATOR KIRSTEN GILLIBRAND

United States Senator Kirsten Gillibrand presents, BOLD & BRAVE, an uplifting collection of short biographies of American suffragists, inspired by the women who, one hundred years ago, won the right to vote, as well as by the trailblazing women in her own family. The true stories are brought to life through vibrant illustrations by Maira Kalman, and powerful words from each woman. There is an undeniable bond between the women in this book forged by their shared passion and ideals. That connection brings the women's rights movement into focus highlighting that there is still more to do.
Kirsten Gillibrand will be in conversation with Symone D. Sanders, a CNN Political Commentator and former National Press Secretary for U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign.
This event includes a talk followed by Q & A and book signing.
