5th Wall is pleased to present Doubt, A Parable by John Patrick Shanley at Threshold Repertory Theatre - with 730pm performances on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from November 9-18.
Directed by 5th Wall Co-Artistic Director David Moon.
Father Brendan Flynn - Jason Olson
Sister Aloysius Beauvier - Linda Esposito
Sister James - Brianna Rodriguez
Mrs. Muller - Kayla Grant
Winner of the 2005 Pulitzer and Tony Awards.
In this brilliant and powerful drama, Sister Aloysius, a Bronx school principal, takes matters into her own hands when she suspects the young Father Flynn of improper relations with one of the male students.
"Doubt requires more courage than conviction does, and more energy; because conviction is a resting place and doubt is infinite - it is a passionate exercise. You may come out of my play uncertain. You may want to be sure. Look down on that feeling. We've got to learn to live with a full measure of uncertainty. There is no last word. That's the silence under the chatter of our time."
