A Brassy Baroque Christmans
Dont miss an exciting evening with the accomplished PSO Brass! Celebrate the Christmas Season with the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra Brass Quintet. The PSO Brass will play an uplifting and audience-pleasing concert with of all your holiday favorites, mixed in with glorious Baroque selections.
The PSO Brass Quintet is comprised of key brass players from the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra:
Adam Gallant and John Cardin, trumpets;
Tracey Crain, horn;
Mark Schneider, trombone;
Jim Griswold, bass trombone
and Crystal Carr, tuba.
The ensemble was founded by Adam Gallant in the fall of 2016 and is dedicated to performing serious brass chamber music at the highest level. PSO Brass has performed recently on the seacoast in Portsmouth, Newington, Durham, Kittery, and will be back in Portsmouth for this special performance.
