ABOUT THE PERFORMERS:
STEVE DONOVAN Comedian Stephen Donovan is truly a renaissance man. Currently a morning radio host in Providence RI, he was also host of the Emmy-nominated weekly Red Sox trivia game show on NESN known as "The Batter's Box." In addition, he hosts "Backstage Buzz" on "Community Auditions", where every week he interviews contestants on New England's longest-running entertainment TV program. For many years radio fans knew Stephen as one half of the #1-rated "Jen & Steve Show" on 104.5 WXLO-FM, interviewing guests from Simon Cowell and Adam Lambert to William Shatner and Keifer Sutherland just to name a few! In his free time, Stephen is also a stand-up comedian in his own right. He has performed all over the country over the last 12 years, with some of the biggest names in comedy, including Dave Chapelle, Chris Rock, and a nationwide college tour with Ben Bailey. Recently Stephen performed at the 6th Annual Cape Cod Comedy Festival and Cape Cod Rockin Radio Comedy Night. Wherever you see or hear him, Stephen will leave you laughing and wanting more!
COMEDIAN CHRIS ZITO Before he was The Pioneer Valley's Favorite Morning Man he was one of the country's favorite touring comedians.Chris Zito has spent the last thirty years sharing his obsession of family with comedy fans and radio listeners all over the country. Starting out as half of the comedy team Zito and Bean right out of acting school, Chris Zito moved quickly to develop his own take on life as a (very!) young father. It wasn't long before he became a mainstay of the early Boston Comedy Scene, eventually making appearances on Comedy Central, USA Network, A&E, NESN and HBO with Larry David among others. If you havent seen Zito live youve almost certainly heard him on the radio with morning show stints on WZLX, OLDIES 103FM and WXLO before moving to MIX93.1FM where he currently hosts the morning show. Chris Zito is an anomaly among comedians. Whether detailing life as an older father of a preschooler or shuddering at the memories of trying to guide his oldest daughter through her teenage years, Chris Zitos audiences are always acutely aware of what he holds most dear. This honest and open presentation is what makes such a strong connection between Chris and whoever sees him perform. Audiences enjoy Chris Zito's clean, funny, and upbeat approach and constantly find themselves laughing out loud while nodding in recognition at themselves!
SAUCE & CHEESE COMEDY DUO Best known as the guitarist and drummer from the hysterical WORLD GONE CRAZY COMEDY BAND - Joe Long and Gary Marino began performing as a duo in 2014 as Sauce-n-Cheese hosting comedy shows, fundraisers and resort shows. Which one is sauce and which one cheese? Theyll never tell! But they do perform stand up, popular song parodies and impressions from the side splitting World Gone Crazy Show as well fake commercials and even a mis-heard lyrics contest where audience members can win CDs & Tee Shirts! Joe Long is an accomplished touring musician who released his first solo CD recently entitled The Lonely Boneyard. Marino has had a colorful career in comedy, radio and film making and has made national appearances on ABCs Live With Regis & Kelly FOX News and Million Calorie March: The Movie. Add a little Sauce n- Cheese to your next comedy show!
ABOUT THE PRODUCER:
GARY MARINO Bostons Gary Marino is a published author, award winning film-maker, media personality, comedian and live show producer. He has appeared nationally on ABCs Live With Regis & Kelly, Fox News over 300 radio stations and in print media such as USA Today and People Magazine. Marino got his start in the last 1980s as a producer, writer and on-air side kick on KISS108FM and in recent years has guest hosted morning shows on WROR-FM and WTKK-FM among others. These days Marino can be heard guest hosting The Morning Showon North Shore 104.9FM. Garys 2008 documentary Million Calorie March: The Movie won the prestigious International Freddie Health Award (essentially medical Oscar) where he received congratulations live via satellite from U2s Bono. As a comedian Gary has performed at Showcase Live at Gillette Stadium, Newport Grand Casino, Chatham Bars Inn and resorts such as The Cape Codder, Seacrest, Burke Mountain, Wachusett and Gunstock among many other venues. Marino recently opened for acclaimed humorist Loretta LaRoche and shared the stage with Lenny Clarke at 5th Annual The Cape Cod Comedy Festival. When not performing solo Marino can be found performing with his comedy band World Gone Crazy: The Comedic Rock & Roll Circus which has been touring New England since 2011.
