THE FAIRIES ARE COMING TO FOLLEN CHURCH
Do you know why the fairy Iolanthe was banished to live at the bottom of a stream or was it a well? (The Fairy Queen does, and so do Celia and Leila and Fleta and Jetta!) Do you know what it is like to be half-fairy, half-mortal? (Unhappy Strephon does!) Do you know what it is like to be in love with one who is half-fairy, half-mortal? (Unhappy Phyllis does!) Do you know what it is like to be defendant and lawyer and judge in your own trial for falling in love with your own ward? (The unhappy Lord Chancellor does!) Do you know what it is like to be in love with the same girl as your fellow-peer and best friend, as well as of course the Lord Chancellor? (The unhappy Lords Tolloler and Mountararat do!) Do you have any idea what role Private Willis who is neither fairy nor peer plays in all these proceedings? (Unhappily, no one does.) Do you know whether all the unhappy people will end up happy by the Finale of Act II? (Rhetorical question, obviously.)
The Follen Youth and Junior Choir's production of Gilbert and Sullivan's "Iolanthe" will take the stage at 8 p.m. on Friday June 14th and Saturday June 15th at Follen Church, 755 Massachusetts Avenue in Lexington MA.
The leads cast are as follows (in alphabetical order), with the complete remaining cast members listed below as well.

The performances are directed by Thomas Stumpf, with Eric Mazonson at the piano. Holly Stumpf is the Production Manager, and the sets are designed by Stephen Ervin.
