Jessica Hische, author of Tomorrow I'll Be Brave

Boswell presents an evening with award-winning illustrator Jessica Hische for her debut picture book, Tomorrow Ill Be Brave. For bibliophiles, Hische's work will be instantly recognizable from her work creating the beautiful Penguin Drop Caps classic series. Others might know her work from McSweeneys and Chronicle Books.

We're so excited that Hische has created her first hardcover book for kids. Tomorrow I'll Be Brave is an uplifting and positive story that encourages kids to promise that tomorrow they will try new things, do their best, and be brave.

Advanced registration for the event has ended, but don't worry, we've got plenty of space for walk ups. We'll only be checking in folks who pre-ordered the book. Thanks to everyone who registered so we could make sure we have enough chairs out.

Hische will sign copies of Tomorrow I'll Be Brave brought from home.

Jessica Hische grew up in Pennsylvania and cut her creative teeth in New York. She currently lives in San Francisco, where she works as a letterer, illustrator, type designer, and relentless procrastiworker. Clients include Wes Anderson, Dave Eggers, The New York Times, Tiffany & Co, Nike, and Samsung.
