Anna and The Annadroids: Dullface

Anna and The Annadroids will present their latest dance theater work, Dullface, at the Garage May 29th and 30th at 8 pm. This show is expected to sell out so please buy your tickets in advance!

Dullface is a digitally enhanced dance theater production presented by Anna and The Annadroids as part of RAW (resident artist workshop). This piece represents part two of a tetralogy of work that began in 2012 with Joy Toy, which was created during a residency at ODC. Dullface builds on themes introduced in Joy Toy and continues the satirical exploration of the physical and psychological effects of objectification, manipulation and distorted self-image. Innovative, athletic choreography, provocative videos, stirring electronic music, surreal set design, quirky costuming, and interactive video technologies all come together to create this surreal production.
