On the day that he is to receive a prestigious award, a novelist of some renown receives a visit from a beautiful young devotee whose world view manifests the unstated philosophy of his writings. The visit triggers a cascade of exploding revelations that lay shambles to his marriage and shake the foundations of his philosophy to its core.
