The San Francisco Bay Area Chamber Choir, directed by Anthony Pasqua, sings "Choral Settings of the Poetry of Emily Dickinson and e.e. cummings"
Composers of these poetry settings include Brian Holmes, Judith Weir, Ronald Perera, Samuel Barber, Elliott Carter, Robert Starer, Libby Larsen, Michael Horvit, Peter Schickele, David Dickau, and Vincent Persichetti.
Wm. Garcia Ganz, piano will be our guest artist.
Cal State East Bay English Professor Susan Gubernat will share comments about the poets and their works during the concert.
