The Art of Connection
How do we get that connection to the audience that stirs the tease and makes them feel the feelings?
Through a series of exercises, postures, movement, and sheer EYEBALL FUCKERY we can leave our audiences stark raving mad and wanting more!
In this class, the Grand Beaver of Burlesque, the Canadian Legend herself, Judith Stein will share her nearly 50 years of burlesque wisdom, offering old school tricks of the trade that will make your performance absolutely desirable and get you booked today.

*This class is suitable for performers of all disciplines*

*Please wear comfortable clothes that are movement friendly and bring heels if you so wish*

*Minimum of 5 participants for class to take place*

Judith Stein, The Lady Divine, stumbled upon her career as a burlesque entertainer in the early 1970s.
An impoverished, Canadian foreign student, studying at the University of Oregon, found herself needing more money to continue her studies.
She applied for a topless go-go girl position, no experience necessary, to made ends meet, and so began her adventures on the burlesque and stripping circuit. She was mentored by the best of the best in the industry, always watching, listening, and learning. Judith spent 17 years performing internationally, from low down honkey-tonks to fabulously exclusive night clubs, each one an experience in learning, trust, and skill.
Judith retired from burlesque to the small town of Nelson, BC to pursue her love of downhill skiing and creating her beloved, exquisitely crafted, vintage-inspired night gowns.

In 2011, Judith by chance attended the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas and was rediscovered as she was the lost Canadian Legend of Burlesque. She was quickly dubbed the Grand Beaver of Burlesque and has been headlining festivals across the globe since.

And guess what?!? Judith Stein danced in BOISE IDAHO in the late 70s!! She is delighted to return 40 years later and share her love of our art once again!!
