2013 Heartland Student Entrepreneur Conference

The 2013 Heartland Student Entrepreneur Conference will take place on Friday, April 19th from 8:30-2:30 at Metropolitan Community College's Fort Omaha Campus. This event will bring you together with over 200 middle school, high school and college students from the Omaha Metro area specifically studying entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity. This 2nd annual conference is FREE and is not to be missed if you are a student from the Heartland area(Douglas, Sarpy, Washington and Dodge Counties, Nebraska).

This year, as a participant, you will have a unique ability to be one of the first Nebraska students to take the YES!-(Your Entrepreneurial Strengths) assessment! This new entrepreneurial talent tool is being launched in partnership with Gallup, Inc. At the conference, students will hear directly from Gallup experts on how to use their YES! results! Student registrants will receive a personal email on the morning of Monday, April 15th with a private web address and directions to access the YES! assessment. Complete, print and bring your assessment with you to the conference!

In addition to hearing from Gallup regarding the YES! assessment, you will hear from other young, local entrepreneurs including Becky App and Abby Jordan from eCreamery. Their Omaha company was recently seen on ABC's Shark Tank and they will be sharing their story(and ice cream!)with you at the Conference!

This Conference is a great opportunity to hear from other entrepreneurs, get ideas, be creative and use your networking skills!
