This presentation by Mark Pardi will introduce Pervious Concrete and the Hydrological design software for stormwater detention. Pervious concrete pavement is a unique and effective means to solve stormwater regulation issues and growing environmental concerns while conserving land use. This pavement technology is effective in recharging aquifers, reducing the heat island effect, reducing the stormwater runoff and controlling the first flush pollutants from reaching local watersheds. Pervious concrete is an effective US EPA Best Management Practice for stormwater management and will help achieve LEED credits.
