UTS presents "The Goat, or Who is Sylvia?"
Directed by: Brian Dang and Ran Ran Wang
Book by: Edward Albee
Note: Ticket sales end 12 hours before the performance begins! On the day of the show, there will always be approximately 15 tickets reserved for purchase at the door.
Martin is 50 years old and at the height of his career. His wife and son both love him and everything seems like its on the upswing. But when his long-standing affair with a certain Sylvia, who happens to be a goat, is brought to light, his romance threatens the ideals he and his family have built themselves on. It digs a pit so deep, so wide, theyll all fall in and never climb out again. Albees play explores the limits of liberal tolerance, betrayal, love, loss, the consequences of deviance, and things that can never be fixed again.
The Goat contains flashing lights, homophobic slurs, sexual content, discussion of sexual assault, and discussion and depictions of animal cruelty.
